Anxiety & stress
Constant worry, panic, overthinking and burnout from work or caregiving.
Aisha Khan is the psychologist at Narika. She offers therapy and mental health education for women — a calm, private space to understand what you're feeling and to build practical ways of coping, alongside the physical care you receive from the rest of the team.

Women's mental health is rarely separate from women's physical health. Hormonal changes, pain, PCOS, fertility journeys, pregnancy, birth and menopause all affect mood — and anxiety or low mood in turn affect sleep, appetite, pain and relationships. Aisha works at exactly that intersection.
Sessions are collaborative. Together you'll clarify what you'd like to change, understand the patterns keeping you stuck, and practise skills you can use between sessions. You set the pace, and nothing is shared beyond your care team without your agreement.
Aisha is an integral part of Narika's care plans — most notably the Vaginismus Care Plan, where she works alongside our pelvic floor physiotherapist to break the fear–tension–pain cycle, and the PCOS and Menopause plans, where mood, body image and stress are addressed as seriously as symptoms.
The concerns women most often bring to Aisha.
Constant worry, panic, overthinking and burnout from work or caregiving.
Feeling flat, tearful, irritable or not like yourself for weeks at a time.
Perinatal anxiety, postpartum low mood and the identity shift of becoming a mother.
Difficult feelings about your body, weight or food — including with PCOS.
Communication, fear around intimacy and emotional support through vaginismus.
Marriage, moving, career changes, infertility, midlife and menopause.
Unhurried, private, and nothing happens without your say-so.
What brings you in, what's been happening and what you hope will change. You share only what you're comfortable sharing.
Aisha helps you connect thoughts, feelings, body and circumstances into a picture that makes sense.
You'll agree on goals and a rhythm for sessions, and leave with one or two practical steps to start with.
Aisha is part of these care plans, working alongside the rest of the team.
Understand what's happening without fear or shame. Teach the brain and body that intimacy doesn't have to mean danger.

See this planIt depends on what you'd like help with. Some women find a handful of focused sessions enough; others prefer longer-term support. Aisha will review progress with you regularly so the plan always fits your needs.
Yes. What you share stays private. The limits of confidentiality — for example, if there were a serious risk to your safety — are explained clearly in your first session.
No. Psychologists provide talking therapy and psychological assessment; they do not prescribe medication. If medication might help alongside therapy, Aisha will discuss this with you and guide you on the next step as part of your Narika care.
Not at all. Most people come to therapy because life feels heavy, confusing or stuck. You deserve support long before things reach a crisis.
