Psychology at Narika

The emotional side nobody warns you about.

Anxiety, low mood, body image, and the weight of holding a family together. Our psychologist offers a calm, private space to talk — and understands how hormones, pain and life stages affect the mind.

What your first visit looks like

No rushing, no judgement, and nothing happens without your say-so.

A safe start

The first session is about getting to know you. You share only what you're comfortable sharing.

Understanding the pattern

Together we look at what's been happening — thoughts, feelings, body, relationships and routines.

A way forward

You leave with a sense of what therapy could look like, and with small, practical first steps.

Who you'll see

Questions women ask us

Is therapy only for serious mental illness?

No. Most people come to therapy because life feels heavy, confusing or stuck. You don't need a diagnosis to deserve support.

Is what I say confidential?

Yes. What you share stays private, within the limits explained to you in your first session.

Why is a psychologist part of a women's health clinic?

Because periods, PCOS, pregnancy, pain, sex and menopause all affect mood and mental health — and vice versa. Treating one without the other often doesn't work.

Can I see the psychologist without seeing a doctor first?

Yes. You can book directly.

Whatever it is, it's worth an appointment.

You don't have to be certain, prepared, or in crisis to come and see us.
